A Solar power system uses the suns light and transforms it into a source of energy.
Conventional Power sources have given way to solar energy in remote areas as a reliable alternative. It has also even been utilised as far out as in space. Solar power systems are used in a variety of ways including homes, lighting, architectural projects, and cooking. Because of the dramatic rise in the cost of fossil fuels, solar energy has become more popular. The main function of solar panels is to collect and focus the sun’s power.
Solar enegy obtained by the solar panels is then changed into useable power. This can be done by a process called solar thermal application. The energy from the sun is used to directly heat liquids or air. The process of photoelectric application involves the use of photovoltaic cells to change the energy into electricity.
Solar power really is green energy as it poses no harm to the environment. However, other threats to the environment may affect the ability to use solar power system in the future. Pollution has resulted in global dimming. It reduces the amount of sunlight that reaches the earth’s surface. A recent concern is global dimming, an effect of pollution that is allowing less sunlight to reach the Earth’s surface. The problem of global dimming is caused largely by global warming and pollution particles.
The Solar Electric Power Association is an organization of electric utility companies and the solar industry. They fused to look for the solutions to deilver our energy requirements. SEPA is a network of more than one hundred companies. There are fifty utility companies, twenty five solar companies and the others are made up of a variety of business types. They share experiences, knowledge, and information about solar programs, They also discuss policies and technology relating to their field.
Is solar energy your choice? There are benefits to this unlimited alternative to fossil fuels. Once installed solar energy is free. It can be utilised in a lot of places where conventional electricity is difficult to install. The sun is not a resource that is going to be depleted any time soon. A disadvantage is that it will not function at night. It is very expensive to create solar power stations to store energy.
Clearly there are areas in the world where solar power and energy unfortunately are unavailable due to climate restrictions and lack of sunlight.
